Jeff has over 35 years of experience in public accounting, the last 25 of which have been focused on valuation and litigation support services. Mr. Stegner was a partner with Armanino for over 20 years before opening his own practice in 2016 to focus exclusively on forensic and valuation services. In addition to being a CPA he is Accredited in Business Valuation and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Jeff has qualified as an expert in every county in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been retained in hundreds of various civil litigation matters and thousands of marital dissolution matters. Litigation support services may include accounting fraud, economic damages, lost profits, tracing of funds or property, spousal support, community vs. separate property claims and business valuation. Though he has qualified as an expert witness in trial, 95% of his cases are resolved in settlement.
Mr. Stegner also specializes in business valuation for strategic purposes, estate and gift tax purposes, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, and more.

Natalie has over ten years of public accounting experience which have exclusively been focused on forensic and valuation services. Natalie was a manager for Armanino's Forensic and Valuation Services team before joining Stegner and Associates in 2016. Natalie is a CPA as well as Accredited in Business Valuation.
Natalie has qualified as an expert in many of the San Francisco Bay Area counties including Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara. She specializes in litigation support for marital dissolution matters. She has been retained as an expert in dozens of matters and assisted in well over a thousand matters. Services include cash flow analysis, marital standard of living, income available for support, tracing of separate property, stock division analysis, tracing of real property, and business valuation.
Natalie also has performed business valuations for a wide range of industries for the purpose of marital dissolution, shareholder buyouts, strategic planning, and gift and estate tax.

Alex is a partner with Bridge Forensic CPAs LLP. Alex has extensive experience in business valuation, family law forensics, and private industry experience in healthcare and physician compensation. He is a CPA, is Accredited in Business Valuation, and a Certified Information Technology Professional.
Alex has qualified, testified, and been appointed the court’s expert in most of the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento area counties. He has worked on thousands of litigation matters primarily related to family law. Alex is commonly asked to perform post-separation accounting, analysis of real property interests, equity compensation apportionments, separate property tracings, and calculations of marital standard and income. He also utilizes his valuation expertise to assist with both business and personal “divorces” and has valued companies across a variety of industries for both family and civil litigation cases.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Jon has over a decade of public accounting experience in the areas of litigation & valuation services, risk assurance, and equity compensation. He began his career with Armanino LLP before joining Bridge Forensic CPAs in 2021 where he is presently a manager for the firm’s litigation and business valuation services. Jon is a CPA as well as Accredited in Business Valuation.
Jon has prepared hundreds of business valuations for a variety of purposes including estate and gift tax reporting, shareholder buyouts, strategic planning, and marital dissolution. He has extensive experience supporting counsel in complex marital dissolution cases requiring analysis of ongoing cash flow, marital standard of living, income available for support, separate property tracing, division of stock/RSUs, and real property tracing. Jon has qualified and testified as an expert in Contra Costa County.
In his free time, Jon enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and street photography. Jon is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Emilie graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a BS in Accounting and dual minor in Psychology and Business. She has worked at Bridge Forensic CPAs since 2019 assisting on marital dissolutions and business valuations. Emilie earned her CDFA® in 2024.
In her free time, Emilie enjoys cooking, reading mystery novels, and spending time with her family.

CJ graduated from California State University, Chico with a BS in Business-Accounting and a minor in economics. He is currently studying for the CPA and hopes to have passed all sections before the end of 2025.
In his free time, CJ enjoys watching and playing sports, stand up comedy, and spending time with friends and family.

Maddie Ellingson graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA with her BA in Accounting. Maddie joined the team as a Staff Accountant in July 2023.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching sports, wine tasting, and spending time with her fiancé, Gordy, and her dog, Athena.

Avery graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Finance, and a minor in History. He then went on to receive a MS in Applied Economics and Finance from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Avery has worked at the firm since February 2023, assisting on a variety of projects revolving around business valuations and marital dissolutions. Avery was born in Walnut Creek where the firm is located and grew up locally in San Ramon.
In his free time, Avery likes playing sports such as basketball and soccer, watching sports, trying new restaurants with friends, watching movies, and traveling.

Dawn earned her BS in Business Management from Western Governors University. She joined our team in May 2024, bringing experience in full-cycle accounting, as well as individual and corporate tax preparation to support her analytical efforts at our firm.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys traveling with her husband and three children. She also volunteers for an organization focused on helping children enhance critical thinking skills, memory retention, and collaborative teamwork.

Joey graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Joey achieved the CPA designation in June 2024 and joined the team as a Staff Accountant in September 2024.
In his free time, Joey enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with friends, family and his two cats, Yoshi and Goomba.

Robbie graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting and Finance. He is currently studying for the CPA exam and has worked at the firm since June 2024.

Sarah is a graduate of Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara CA with a BA in Professional Photography, and a concentration in Digital Media. She also received her Certificate in Project Management from California State University – East Bay. Sarah is a California girl, born in Southern CA and growing up in the East Bay. She has a background in customer service, office administration, and event coordination.
In her free time, Sarah loves being out in nature working on her photography, keeping up with all her sports teams, wine tasting, going to live theater, and spending time with her family and friends.

Braden Bontrager is a graduate of Los Medanos College in Behavioral and Social Sciences. He was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and still frequently visits, but he calls California his true home. As a customer service professional he has worked in a wide range of areas, from local government to Disney World in Orlando. He specializes in travel and customer relationship management, but loves working in the litigation and family law atmosphere.
In his free time, Braden loves to travel, especially visiting Disney Parks with his wife. He loves making espresso, adding to his Lego collection, and exploring the Bay Area with his family and friends.
